At a glance
- Public links are welcome.
- Permissions depend on material and purpose.
- Third-party rights remain with their owners.
Request permission
Identify the material, intended format, distribution, audience and duration. Include whether you wish to translate, reproduce text, use an image or incorporate a tool. Permission is not granted automatically by a request.
Linking and quotation
You may link to public pages. Brief quotation must follow applicable law and preserve attribution and context. Full republication, brand use or commercial syndication requires appropriate permission. Nothing here removes rights available under mandatory law.
Third-party material and editorial visuals
Source publications retain rights in their original work. Motenza cannot grant rights it does not hold. Editorial covers are conceptual visuals, rather than documentary photographs of actual events or named businesses.
Define the exact reuse
Include the original URL, intended text or image, format, audience, territory and duration. Explain whether the material will be translated, modified or used commercially. A new distribution or changed use may need a new agreement.
For a dataset, retain source references, definitions and usage notes. For an expert portrait, check rights separately from the article text. When the original is substantively corrected, review whether your licensed copy also needs correction.
