Who is responsible

This policy applies to Motenza Journal at motenza.com, including public reading, educational tools and publication enquiry services. Motenza Holding LLC operates the journal. Our correspondence address is 1200 Brickell Ave Ste 1950 #550, Miami, FL 33131, United States. This policy takes effect on October 10, 2026.

External websites have their own notices. In particular, Motenza Capital and its application platform are separate services. Reading this journal does not start a financing application, and this policy does not govern information submitted on that platform.

Reading, search and calculators

You do not need a public account to read the journal, browse city profiles or use a calculator. Our calculators and cash-flow planner calculate results in your browser. The journal does not receive those inputs as an application, send them to a lender or use them to make a credit decision.

Opening a page or image sends ordinary request information to its host. This can include an IP address, requested URL, referring page, browser information and request time. Hosting infrastructure uses request information to deliver pages, maintain security and diagnose errors.

Search terms are part of the page URL and can appear in browser history, hosting logs and links you share. Search with general questions rather than account numbers, identification details or private financial records. An exported planning file is saved on your device; you decide where to store or share it.

Messages and expert comment requests

We use information in a message to understand and handle the enquiry. An expert request collects your name, publication or organization, email, question, optional deadline and acknowledgement of this notice. It does not request bank records, identity documents or payment information.

An expert request is stored in the private editorial inbox. Motenza Editorial may share the relevant question and contact details with the practitioner to coordinate a response. A submission is not public by default. Proposed publication of an attributed comment is handled separately from receipt of the request.

To limit repeated submissions, the form uses a keyed, one-way identifier derived from request information. The enquiry record does not store that identifier as a raw IP address, although hosting infrastructure may separately process the original request information. An operational notification may be sent through the configured email provider when available.

Send only what is necessary. Ordinary email and forms are not anonymous whistleblower portals or confidential document rooms. Do not include passwords, access tokens, client files or another person’s sensitive information.

Briefings and browser notifications

You can read the business briefing online and follow RSS without submitting an email address. Email signup is offered only when its confirmation and delivery service is available. Where offered, we record the address, request time, consent version and subscription status. An address becomes active only after confirmation. The confirmation link expires after 24 hours; this is not automatic deletion of the stored request.

Confirmed subscribers can stop delivery using the unsubscribe link in a briefing. Unsubscribe changes delivery status and is distinct from erasing a record. Resend provides email delivery when this feature is offered. Delivery records can include a message identifier and acceptance time. Provider acceptance is not proof that a message reached an inbox.

Optional browser updates require a separate action and browser permission. The journal stores the endpoint, encryption keys, creation time and delivery preference needed for that subscription. You can unsubscribe on this device through Privacy choices and change permission in browser settings. Browsing alone does not subscribe you.

Why information is used

Information supports publishing and delivery, handling correspondence, coordinating a requested expert response, maintaining a requested subscription, protecting the service and preserving an accurate publishing record. Calculator inputs are not used for an automated lending decision.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, it depends on the activity: consent for optional subscriptions, a legitimate interest in responding to correspondence and protecting the service where permitted, and compliance with applicable legal obligations. Withdrawal of consent stops future optional use without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing.

The public journal does not install advertising trackers or third-party audience analytics. We do not sell public tool inputs or share them for cross-context advertising. A material change to collection or use requires an updated notice and appropriate reader controls.

Providers and other recipients

Vercel provides hosting and private Blob storage for publishing records and the editorial inbox. Resend handles configured email delivery. Browser push delivery can involve Apple, Google or Mozilla, depending on your browser. Each provider processes the information needed for its service under applicable terms and privacy practices.

Private editorial access is restricted to authorized operations. Relevant information may be disclosed to comply with a lawful request, protect people or the service, or address a legal claim. A business reorganization may require information to be transferred with the service, subject to applicable law and the notice governing its use.

External links, source publications and remotely hosted portraits have their own operators. Loading an external image can send an ordinary image request to that host. The journal’s browser-storage controls do not govern another website.

Storage and retention

The checklist preference lasts for the browser session or until cleared. An editor authentication cookie expires after eight hours. Public readers do not need that cookie. A browser push registration lasts until removed or otherwise ended under the browser’s rules.

Correspondence, expert requests, subscription records and delivery logs are retained for their operational purpose and applicable recordkeeping needs. The enquiry system does not apply a fixed automatic deletion period. Records can remain until authorized review or a deletion request is handled. Publishing integrity, security needs and legal obligations can affect whether information must be retained.

Editorial revisions and backups support recovery and the accuracy of the record. Information removed from an active record may remain in a backup until that backup is replaced or removed. Hosting logs follow provider retention settings and practices; this policy does not promise an unverified fixed period. Ask the privacy department about a specific record.

Security and international processing

The public website uses HTTPS. Editorial access requires authentication and enquiry records use private storage. These measures reduce exposure; no website, email channel or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Report a suspected journal vulnerability to security@motenza.com without sending private records or credentials.

The operator is in the United States. Providers may process information in the United States and other locations used to deliver their services. Laws and protections can differ between locations. Where international transfer requirements apply, applicable law and the appropriate provider arrangements govern the transfer. This notice does not promise that all information remains in one country.

Your rights and requests

Depending on applicable law, rights may include access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, restriction of processing, objection to certain uses, withdrawal of consent or an appeal of a request decision. Conditions and exceptions may apply. Response periods follow applicable law rather than a universal deadline stated here.

Write to privacy@motenza.com or to Motenza Holding LLC at 1200 Brickell Ave Ste 1950 #550, Miami, FL 33131, United States. Describe the request and identify the email address or interaction concerned. Provide enough context to locate the record, without attaching identity documents at first contact. Proportionate verification may be needed before information is released or changed. An authorized representative may need evidence of authority.

If you disagree with a response, explain the issue and request reconsideration from the privacy department. Where applicable, you may raise a concern with a competent data protection or consumer protection authority. Making a privacy request does not require purchasing a product or subscribing.

Children and sensitive information

The journal is a business publication for a general adult readership. Its enquiry and subscription services are not directed to children under 13. Do not knowingly submit a child’s personal information. A parent or guardian who believes such information was submitted can ask the privacy department to investigate and remove it where appropriate.

The journal does not ask readers for health records, government identification, precise location or account credentials. Public-source reporting about a person’s business role is different from receiving private records through a reader form.

Changes to this policy

The effective date identifies this policy version. Material changes will appear here and, where required, be communicated through the affected service. Previously collected information remains subject to applicable law and the commitments governing its use. Cookies and Privacy choices explain the practical controls available now.
